One soldier lock-up??
I've been a TG'er for a long time now and don't remember seeing this issue before.....sorry if it has come up before!
When I log in as "jazy2" I have control of the mouse to pick a server and all that. Map loads up, I click join game and my cursor is now in the middle of the screen and won't move. No key commands work at all. I have to call task manager and end the 2142 process.
When I log in as my other soldier "Jayzbon" all is well and I play away......
I say all is well but it is not, "Jayzbon" is an out and out medic only!!!
I want all my unlocks and I don't really want to continue playing as "Jayzbon"
I have already deleted the radial file and done Punkbuster update.
Any ideas???

That's new. This is probably a dumb suggestion but try looking at your keyboard/mouse settings under options if you haven't already. Maybe something messed up there.

Re: One soldier lock-up??
Had this a while ago. Think there is post about this as well here somewhere.
I had to reset my keys to default and set them up again and they worked just fine.Proud to have been part of the 101st Siege Corps of Engineers

Re: One soldier lock-up??
I suggest in my docs, delete the default and 001 and 002 in profiles
then boot 2142, log onto ea server afresh, reclaim accounts (that recreates the folders under profile from scratch) and reset all keybinds again

Re: One soldier lock-up??
Spot on Silver! That fixed it and with just a few adjustments to my setings I am back up and running. All keys and extra mouse buttons reset. Took a lot less time than I had thought it would. No rep for you though....I must spread it around. Can someone rep this awesome guy for me?
