I have tried multiple solutions, to no avail. Any help fellow peoples?
I thought it would be quite fun, but I can't even start it.

If I remember correctly the install has to be altered if you have delux edition of 2142, is that the case?

Okay. No, the deluxe edition isn't any different. You are thinking of a northern strike issue.
Oddly enough, a fresh install seems to fix the problem. What is weird is that the clanmod website say 29 users online, yet I only see one populated server, on which is only 3 people; 1 AFK, and two gunship duelers. o.0
Is there something I am missing, or is this dead?

its a special mod that is used for some competitions and not all that popular, everyone wants their points.

Clanmod is mostly a Euro mod, not sure why it's not more popular here.

Nothing on the scale of PR or even POE, mods were never that abundant for 2142 because there were never any tools for 2142, user made or otherwise. FirstStrike was the closest thing to being big but the first release never really took because of all the issues it had.
