Conflict with Emulation Software Detected!!!
Ok, so yesterday i bought a gateway fx model p-7805u laptop specifically to play Battlefield 2142. Well, after installing the game i tried playing it but a message comes up saying "Conflict with Emulation Software Detected". Can anyone please help me, i love this game and im just so aggravated. Either way thank you and have a good day

Are you running DaemonTools or another emulation program? It seems like a silly question, but a lot of games will refuse to run if DT is running, even if its not actively affecting the game.

No, its so frustrating. i got some Black tie package from bestbuy so they installed everything for me and said its ready to go. Call of duty wow, dow 2, and total war empire all run great except for my favorite game

It's probably that spyware crap that BF2142 loads onto your computer once it installs. A horrible excuse for a cheat detection idea. It may be something with your OS. =/

To Woken: Don't worry about what they say about spyware; it is fine. Teamspeak also has spyware "technically"...
