PB Important [admin decision]
I am randomly [or so it seems] getting kicked from the TG server. As I'm being kicked, I see this message. Then on the server-browser screen, there's a pop-up dialog that just says "Punkbuster" in the top left corner.
Didn't happen during a round on another server.
First time it happened after < 3 minutes on server.
Second time it happened after >10 minutes on server.
I think my PID is right in my profile.
:/ Any ideas?

That is usually the SM kick. Have you tried running PBsetup just in case? It works best if you delete your PB file in 2142 and allow it to replace the entire thing.

Thanks mantis! I had wrong one in there before guess I was using a different PID before? Anyway - hopefully this one will work right... will try again in a few.

Also, turn off Fraps. I kept getting kicked by PB for having that on.

Sordavie do you have the latest version of fraps? It seems to work fine while all of the older versions will cause pb to kick you.

I can confirm that, I was having problems with punkbuster kicking me because of FRAPS. I made a post about it asking if PB could update their stuff, and someone said I should update FRAPS.... biggest "facepalm" moment of my life. Went and DLed the newest FRAPS and I've had no issues since. I recommend updating regardless, it works alot faster than previous versions, I can record fullscreen video with no FPS loss now, whereas before my FPS would drop to 20, on a 1680x1200 screen.
I think the problem is something else, however. The logs said he's being kicked for a supporting member, so it's probably a problem with his PID in his profile. Whiskey, did you find out what was causing the problem?
