Can't add/find TacticalGamer Servers
Help! Ok...so i got a new 64-bit vista desktop about a week ago and I can run everything super-smoothly...
I've been able to get on the server many times because I was lucky enough to have the History tab with the TG server still saved....HOWEVER!
nowadays..I can't find the server anymore AND
whenever I add a server to my favorites..it automatically becomes red and I can't join saying that the server generated an error...
I also can't see any of my friend's servers! You guys are all on the TG server but all I see is red IP addresses!!!
HELP!...I know my DSL router from verizon has all it's ports open...there is no physical or software firewall. I have been able to play on the server with no problem...it's just a matter of finding and adding servers to my favorites list...

I've actually reinstalled without NS since I didn't want to take the chance....I can find the server...but I cannot add to my favorites list...I'm good for now...

WOOOO HOOO!!! solved the problem....normally I play on my schools T1 line and everything is already set up so that the ports are open and forwarded....now that I'm at home....I behind a modem/router combo....I had set up the port forwarding based on the information on seemingly legitimate website...BUT I now realize that it was missing some ports that EA put on its own website....sigh....you have to go to the source to get all the INFO!!
The funny thing was that I was missing the most important port to begin with....the port that TG servers use, 17567!!!!!! hahaha
IF ANYBODY EVER SEES red...it's your ports!!!!

I'm having this same problem. Just reinstalled BF2142 after a LOOONG break. I kinda missed it for my arcady shooter fun but wanted to play on TG's servers for the teamwork.
Can't find them... tried with and without NS.
Help!!
I see the above post about opening ports and stuff, how do I do that in game?

You don't open the ports in-game. These are ports that have been opened on the router or modem you are using. You should not be blocked going out these ports though, you may be blocked coming in, but that doesn't matter unless you are hosting the sever yourself..
I can't quite see what your problem is, so give us some more detail. Have you gone to the advanced search page and typed Tacticalgamer in? Remember to untick things like auto-balance etc, as we don't have this on the server, and therefore won't show up in the default search list, which has this selected..BF3 Soldier: DrSparky
