Having trouble
Hi guys,
I come to seek your wisdom
I am having trouble loading my game. Odd...as it's been working just fine till today. The game actually loads but when I actually want to join the TG server the whole game disappears as if it was never on. What can be the problem? Thank you as always for all the help.

Re: Having trouble
Do you mean the game itself crashed to the desktop?
Or otherwise that the game, meaning the "match", crashes to the game's menu?
I've had... both I think, no mostly I had the second thing with loading.
It would sometimes give a message but sometimes nothing at all.
I'd think it would be a connection-issue.
But I think both the TG-server(s) and you are in the US, which should usually be less of a problem...- Damage Inc.

Re: Having trouble
I will be your technician Latina! Ooops, my wife is looking over my shoulder. (-: However, I fix computers and built rigs for people...
You may want to start with fixing "radial.cdb" file. DO not delete the file, rename it.

Re: Having trouble
if nothing has helped so far, I'd try deleting the local profile (my documents\battlefield 2142\profiles\). If you only have one soldier, delete the only folder in there. If you have multiple soldiers, delete the folder with the latest timestamp (assuming you played with that soldier last). Or, just delete them all, it's not really going to hurt anything other than force you to redo settings and optimize shaders again.

Re: Having trouble
Latina - The same thing happened to me this week. Here are the steps I took to fix it.
1) Delete your video.con file - don't try playing yet
2) Then update your video driver, wait - don't play yet.
3) Restart your computer and now stART yoUR gaME.
