Kick by admin while being commended for following rules
I was playing around 4:30 on Saturday (central time) and i was kicked. The message was something like "PB Important:Kicked by admin" or something like that. I was, atm, in a squad with a TG member, and was discussing joining, and it had also come up that i was following the rules very well. I didn't make a single teamkill, etc. Was I kicked to make room for someone? Or did I do something wrong?
P.S. sorry if this is in the wrong place, i looked around for a bit but couldn't see where it goes (kinda new to the website)

I might really well be the supporting member script that kicked you if you want to be sure that it wasn't directly from an admin try the contact an admin forum and if they didn't do it the SM script could most likely be the cause

Re: Kick by admin while being commended for following rules
well if that didn't look familiar and you would still like to know why, follow this guide:
Infraction System [Ban, kicks, warnings]
of which you already got the first step wrong.
j/k

hehe, thanks, i'll look into that
sorry for posting and such, i'm new to the site and haven't quite got my berings yet.
Also, i'm not complaining about being kicked, just trying to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong (so I can fix it if i was)

Re: Kick by admin while being commended for following rules
Others have covered where to address this (Contact an Admin section.... Yeah, yeah, had to say it) but TBH, this is the message you get when the server kicks you to make room for a supporting member. I wigged out the first time I saw it, too. It doesn't help that BF2142's server browser is complete crap. But when I logged back in to BF2142 I saw the server was at 46/48 and remembered the login message that the server kicks at 46/48 to make room for supporting members. So I wouldn't worry about it too terribly much. But, yeah, go up 2 forums to Contact an Admin and ask there.

Re: Kick by admin while being commended for following rules
It's not a great choice of words, but people should see at least one top message saying that someone is being kicked, "welcome back another time". When they're kicked they should put two and two together...
If they don't, it's lack of situational awareness

Re: Kick by admin while being commended for following rules
have you tried updating punkbuster?
You should probably go ahead and post in the contact an admin forum if you are experiencing this frequently. They can tell you exactly why you were kicked, the server keeps a log.

Sounds like it could be that you need to update Punkbuster. Try this: http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=pbsetup.php
