Windows 7 Key Binding Issues
When I installed 2142 in win7 about 2 weeks ago, I noticed that my keystroke mouse button assignments would not work in game, but worked just fine during normal computer use. (ie. Surfing the web, using Word...) Just recently I have discovered that my key binding for teamspeak ('c', if it matters) is not registering while I'm in game. I have been talking to myself for 2 weeks...
Anyway, Its seems to me that Battlefield is "hogging" all the keyboard input while its running. In other words, it is not allowing the keyboard input to get to other programs that are running. (Setpoint for my mouse, and teamspeak for its push to talk).
Can anyone help me out with this? I have done some digging, but have come up empty handed. Any aid, or thoughts, would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Windows 7 Key Binding Issues
Ok, so after a good bit of troubleshooting today I loaded the game up THROUGH Steam. I had to shuffle around some admin rights to steam so that it could load 2142 (with admin permissions). Everything works fine when I run the game through steam. The problem has been solved as far as I care, but if you want to look into it further, don't let me stop you.
