    Looking For New GFX Card.

Well its Christmas time again and you know what that means, PC UPGRADES!!! I want to get a new graphics card that is under $500 that will be able to run BF2142 medium to high gfx levels since my current card is just horrible. I am also looking for one that would be good with BF Bad Company 2. I know the specs for it aren't out yet but just an estimate. It is going to support Direct X11 graphics though. (What ever the heck that is LOL! )
    Thanks!

What resolution do you game at? Are you at least running C2D e8400? Please provide more info.

The best option would be to get AMD HD5870 if you can get your hands on one...

I am running EVGA GTX260 Core216 and game at 2560x1600. However I will be getting a new video card if BC2 turns out to be a great game.

Nearly any card that is worth more than a hundred bucks will do fine with BF2 at nearly any resolution.

    What is your system specifications?

Buying a new graphic card like 5870 can be overkill if you are running and old CPU.

Like Reminshi says, just watch for overkill, I've just bought a HD4870 for my slightly old PC, however I chose overkill for re-usability on future mobo and processor upgrades.

Not worth upgrading if you are running Pentium D. If you have $500 it would be better to upgrade the rig and get a mid range video card such as EVGA GTX275.

What resolution do you game at?
