US ping map to solve problem.
What I would like to do is get a ping and a location from to try to create a map of pings to the 2142 server.
I'm trying to trouble shoot my ping and it seems as though people on the West coast have better pings than mine.
I have done trace route and I have found 2 routers that are causing a problem but I'm not sure.
So if you could put down your ping, your town or major nearby city and a to server (2142) I can make a map of pings to the server. I will then look for additional or faster routes or possibly a new ISP.
Example

The Tactical Gamer 2142 main server is located in Virginia. The farther away you are from it, the worse your ping. Given that you live in California, the signal has to cross about 9 states and 2500 miles one way to get to you. While yes, some of your issues could be caused by latency from a router or two, the majority of it is shear distance. That far out, the best you could hope for would be in the 90-100 range. While this may be an improvement over what you have, this is best case scenario. Given the distance, your ping is about right.

I’m not in the US, but I’m about 20 minutes from the north-eastern border (northern Vermont)...
In game ping (BF2142) = 26~32
Location = Sherbrooke (near Montreal in CANADA)

Denver, Colorado is pinging 50-70ms to the 2142 server. If your ping is abnormally high, you might want to run a traceroute to the server and find out where the bad hops are.

Kwalc 90 - 140, Aruba, southern caribbean(close to venezuela).
on good night it can be in the 90's but most night its around 120
