    Connection problems, supporting member

    Hi!
After I tired of getting kicked from the bf2142 server I decided to get a subscription.
About two hours ago I got my payment approved and the status message "supporting member" showed up almost instantly next to my nick.
However I am unable to connect to the server. I have tried for a couple of hours now and I keep getting kicked. What gives?

I have put in my PID in the the details section of my TG account.

The funny thing is that my brother gets in immediatly but I get kicked.
The last time I tried I saw a guy get kicked because he/her did not choose a squad in time, but still I got kicked.
My brother also said to me that people got kicked because a supporting member connected but I was still not getting in.

Does anybody have any idea how to fix this? maybe I did something wrong (I have quadrupled checked)

All I want to do is to play on an awesome server, I never had these problems before.

    Thanks beforehand!

    /Lien1 noob TG member.

Congrats on your new supporting member status! My first question is where you got your PID? If the PID is incorrect then that right there would be the source of your problem. Also, I just renewed my SM status this month because I was gone for awhile... and it took a little before I never was kicked as well. So if you have everything correctly inputted, you may just have to wait for the servers to receive that you are a SM... this shouldn't take very long.

    Thanks!

I got my PID from 2142stats and it matched the PID from the EA BF site.
I will try again later today hopefully you are right and I'll get in.
Thank you for taking time to respond

    Ok here's an update.

Still not getting in, I can get in when there is about 20 people on the server,
but never when it is full.
Maybe I misunderstood, but aren't there reserved slots?

I have gone over my settings again and read the forums and still it's fubar.

I just want to get my TG on!

No no - you are correct. There are reserverd slots.

I checked your profile and crosschecked the PID. Everything seems fine ... you should be able to join the server when it is at 46/48. If it is at 48/48 (for what so ever reason) you can't join at that very moment and need to wait until the script catched up. If the server remains at 48/48 for quite some time find an admin and inform him about that. Because that means that the script is not working properly. AND he will make room for you to join

Btw ... do you receive a spesific message when you can't join? Or just the standard/default one?

    Hello again!

thx for checking so I know that I have put in the right info!
i still have this problem and it occurs when the server has 46/48 ppl.
I get the "There is a problem with your connection" error and cannot connect for about five minutes and then it just repeats itself. When the server has 46 players I only have a chance to join when the server changes maps.

if there are less than 46 players I get in just fine and I never get kicked.
So I guess that part of the service works, better than nothing

I just have to say that everbody here are very nice and helpful, so thank you!

You might be better trying the IP address instead of a bookmarked server. Go to Multiplayer and Advanced, and Connect to IP.

Main server details: 64.34.163.112 port: 17567

Sometimes the search reports false info that doesn't update. Not sure if joining from a friend currently on the server will also help?

    Thanks for the tip!
I'll try it right away. No using the "join on server" button generates the same error.
I'll let you all know if connect to ip works.

I have had the same problem on occasion, it happens to all of us supporting members once in a while, if you use Teamspeak you can ask an admin to make room!
