    EA Master Server Sucks

    Well,

    I was looking forward to playing with you guys this Sunday night, but alas, I cannot, because EA's Master Server is having issues and is telling me it can't connect.

    It'll let me log in with my alt just fine, but since my alt has no unlocks, why bother? The game is so unfriendly to new players.

    I guess it's time to see what those crazy tacmod people are up to.

    Oh bollock it all to hell, they're playing some other mod I don't have.

    I guess it's time to go to the pub.

    Telorn, thanks dude, i was beginning to think this was an issue with my system. You all go the System Error Occured right? ..

    I can use the unlocks, but no upgrades.

    Hah! I thought the same thing. In fact, I had just installed TacMod a couple hours ago, so I figured I'd hop in some BF2 action after half a year or so. I go to connect and find out they are playing a different mod, which is 1.6 gigs!

    I had PoE2 just installed so I figured I'd give it a try. It was OK, but would have been better if the people in PR mod on the other server were in PoE instead. Tonight was just a crappy night, thanks to EA.

    It was a statement of fact that EA sucks and I could not connect to play. I made the topic to inform other players as, looking at EA forums, it was/is a wide spread issue.

    I had a problem where my unlocks would all show up, but it thought that I was a private on the BFHQ and the loading screens, so I'm not sure where my points went.

    I connect to the Master Sever just fine, but when I select what soldier I want to play as, it tells me there's a system error. Yet, when I try to get on as another name on the same account, there's no problem. I don't think I did anything that EA would ban me for, so why can't I play as my own soldier?

    i cant even play i come to thiz site and make an account and then i went to login the game it sayes its not found and i click to creat a NEW account it sayes timed out try again later what the ***********

    Sorry nothing can be done other then wait it out. This is an EA issue only EA can fix it. EA has announced that they are in the process of upgrading their systems to handle the increased load. Until EA steps up and fixes it once and for all it is just an annoyance that we will have to put up with from time to time.

    As for other connection issues, update Windows, make sure your firewall is off or will allow 2142 to operate. Best to use a wired connection versus a wireless, etc.
