Team vehicle damage bug.
Anyone else see this? I was walking around Berlin as assault when out of the blue I got two Team Vehicle Damage notices. I was never engineer on that round and I have no idea where they came from. Someone else mentioned on the typed chat that they got team vehicle damage as well, as a sniper when they were just setting up there APM's (APM's not blown, yet), so I'm thinking this wasn't just a one time event.

Same thing here but I always assumed it was my mines since I'm usually engineer. I think it is a bug though.

It's definitely a bug. Sometimes I get a message that I killed other people when I never laid mines. Even weirder, I'll get a message that somebody killed me but I'll be standing somewhere completely alive.

I've gotten -20 teamwork points after joining a round for team damage and 3 punishes for teamkills within the first 3 seconds. I'm pretty sure its a bug since I'm still sitting at the spawn screen customizing my kit.
Alternatively if you're on a crappy server and drop something on the titan as it moves around you can theoretically do 'team vehicle damage' if what you drop 'runs into' the titan. Also if you drop an IPS or Sentry Gun you can do 'team damage' if you switch kits or get revived since your IPS and Sentry Gun will slowly take self damage before self destruction.
They're very annoying bugs.
My sanity is not in question...
It was a confirmed casualty some time ago.

I noticed this last night. Took out a 2 enemy vehicles and got team vehicle damage with each one. I thought i was going crazy.

I have been pondering on this for a while since it's happened to me quite a few times when I do exactly that now I know why it happens.
