    My ping on the Virginia conquest server doubled 2 days ago.

    Anyone else have this issue? 2 days ago I logged in and noticed I had an abnormally high ping. Left the server, as the latency was making the game less enjoyable. Tried again yesterday... same.

    All other servers have normal pings for me and play fine.

    My normal ping for that server was between 38-45... now it doesn't go below 100. Bummer.

    i normally get around 20 ping since im in NJ and it hasnt changed for me. I havent been on in a few days though so ill check it out.

    Yea, when on the server noone else's ping looked abnormal. The only thing I can guess is a router coughed or died along my path to the server.

    I believe it's what I normally get but it could have been lower a couple weeks ago before we changed the server. It's funny sometimes I will have a high ping (or the average for me) and the game will run smoothly and other times it will drop in the 60-80 range and the game will "lag". I can't seem to figure it out.

    Sometimes the lag is server side, so that can explain why you experience lag while your ping is low. Every time I've experienced lag on Virginia it has been the server and it is system wide, as in others say they are experiencing the issue too. My ping will be 30-40 but yet people are rubber banding and vehicles disappearing.

    dang thats why my ping is so good in your conquest server lol,, i live near pittsburgh, well washington county anyway... nice to have a server so close to home 20-40 avg.

    Hey, BHack, are you still experiencing ping problems now?

    I got the same issue on the Conquest server happened night. I joined and my ping was at 250 - like I was on dialup or something. I usually ping around 70 on the server.

    I restarted my computer and then tried to rejoin and my ping was back to normal. I don't think the reboot really helped (I was surprised when it did). If I run into the problem again I'll post in this thread.

    Yes, I had the same high ping - I think it was like 350! First time I seen it that high so I'll keep an eye open.

    My ping fixed itself a day after I posted this thread. It's right back down to 35-45.

    Must have been a router/ISP issue.
