I seem to remember you use abode, I dont know about that program sorry
turn your game sounds down about 25%, if there is talking and game sounds the same time, the audience should be able to hear the voices
    video looks good

Good idea, I am gonna try that when I get home again (I'm on other computer now), I'll tell you when I tested that.

like silver, im sure this is a software feedback issue that is correctable through settings. I have encountered this in the past and forget what i did to rectify it.

I'm getting a high pitched feedback whistle which is extremely annoying. It does not show up on the videos, but it gives me a headache after playing for about 10 minutes with it. I have a headset mic as well, which could be the problem.

it took me a lot of tweaking to get things right. I no longer get feedback, static or any other issues when recording. part of the solution was a sound card upgrade from on board realtek sound to a sb xfi card. i have a headset mic.

Re: FRAPS and recording your own VOIP

    hey guys,

i have the registered full version of fraps and cannot find the answer to my problem anywhere.

i got on your server last night; when im recording, my mic dosnt work on teamspeak or ingame comms. i see hundereds of answers of how to get YOUR mic to record on the video, but none on how to stop fraps from disableing microphone for everything else (teamspeak, in-game comms). it defeats the purpose of recording if i cant use voice while im doing it (i really dont care about my voice being in the video, i just want to communicate) i stop recording and everyone can hear me again. and its all games, not just bf2142

    thx

Slayer, that's a great question. While I don't have the answer myself I think a better place to ask it is in the Video Production section of the Hardware & Software Discussion forum. Exploding Silver answers the vast majority of the questions there and he is the best person for the job. Good luck.
