Problem with screen
Hey guys, I think I need some tip here.
I bought a 19" new LCD screen today and when I log on to BF2142 the 'lil sucker decide not to works. I set my screen resolution at 1152x864 and refresh rate at 75. Is there any tip of how to make it work other than having to reinstall? |

Run it in windowed mode, it should give an error message.

Did you force BF to run at that resolution? Or did you just set your screen to that resolution?

I found out what wrong man. Thank for the help guys.
I had to wipe out everything, reinstall the game then set it compatibility to Win2000 even though I have XP. Simply dumb found on why EA made it like this. |

I'm preaty sure the root of the problem was refresh rate. When I switched to an LCD trying to run BF2, I got the splash screen then crash. It's because the game 's refresh rate is higher than the LCD monitor.
