Can't Rank Up?

I just made an alternate character to focus an the Engineer class and get all the unlocks on it. I'm currently at 283/200 points, and I have no unlocks and I won't rank up. Is this any sort of known bug, or is there something I'm missing?

Sorry for the mis-post! But uh... what's the remedy? Do I hafta scrap the toon, or will I eventually get the overdue rank-up?

Usually for me I get it the next time I login, or on the first map after relogging in.

The other way is to log onto a non-TG server and kill someone/score 1 point and wait for the round to end. Should force an update.

This worked for me, I actually was ranked twice within 5 minutes due to this bug...

So is it mainly due to something between the TG servers and the EA master server?

No, it's just a bug, happens on all servers.

That's right, didn't start playing 2142 until recently, so I'm only Lance Corporal Silver. But (and if this is a stupid question, then forgive me), how is it that I should've been Lance Corporal Gold 13 points ago, but never got promoted?

Just a bug in 2142. Go play a round, get a kill or two, and the promotion should come. Yes, it can be frustrating when you want that next unlock, but we've all had to put up with it.

ea's master servers were down all morning for some..... if it dont clear up today it will be tomarro....

sometimes they update right away,, sometimes it takes a day or 2....

they'll get all their ducks in a row sooner or later.

Happened to me yesterday. I got my first real gameplay sans-lag in and started with 22 points. 2.5 hours later I was at 560 points with no promotion. Left the server and went to another and with each kill/heal/revive I gained rank. It's nice to get 6 unlocks all at the same time.
