The server moving the CO

I was playing last night and alteast 4 times i got moved to the other team by the server...Is it possible to have a CO and SL's fixed on 1 side so that if the teams are un even it dose not move the guys around. Thanks a bunch and i still like your server

I don't see how this is possible. I have never, ever been switched as SL or CO. The game specifically prevents SLs and COs from being autobalanced. I have also never, ever heard anyone else reporting this. It's possible you hit the tab for the other team by mistake.

EDIT: As Tempus says, the server switches the entire team every round. COs and SLs are never autobalanced mid-round.

We switch sides after each round. Is that what you're talking about?

If it's a mid-round move, we don't have much control over who does and does not get moved.

I thought that Pokerface modded BF2 so that SL's and/or CO's wouldn't be autobalanced...? Whatever the case, due to restrictions of ranked servers, we don't have control over who gets autobalanced mid-round.

That was before one of the BF2 patches. In the later versions of BF2 and in 2142, SLs and COs are never autobalanced by default.

If you switch sides mid-round, then it's user error. Nobody I have ever played with has ever been switched mid-round as CO or SL. If it happens to you often, you're hitting the opposing side's team tab.

I think i know your problem. Are you being switched to EU when your PAC but not the other way around? If so, whats going on is that when you die, you problably hit Caps. lock (my fav key) and clicking on "kit" so you can cuztomize your kit or click a new spawn point. The thing is, your problably hitting the little EU tag when your trying to hit the "Kit" key, because its so close to the the tag your really trying to hit. And sometimes your like in a rush so you can barely control yourself. I've experienced this before and know when such occasion arises, I try to be careful with what im clicking.

If your a CO or SL, you won't be moved to the other side mid-round. It's just not possible unless an admin moved you.

Next time check to make sure you are either a CO or SL, if not, then you'll be moved.

As a SL, I got moved to the other side, and a bunch of my squad got shifted around a bunch too. I -know- I didn't hit the PAC tab, because I never even had my squad screen up. I just spawned and poof, I was on PAC.

This was the other day, on Berlin. I know Pvt. Buddha was in my squad, but I can't remember who else was. Pfeil too I think.

Last night we had our SL get switched to the other side. I think it was Lorax.

Said I was moved but I never actually switched teams. I did get booted from the squad a few times while I was squad leading.
