Server Rules Porked

I'm sorry to say this but your server rules are porked

I mean really......join squad or get kicked........when every squad is locked and number of squads are at maximun.

If there is a way to prevent players from locking squads then do so before making a rule that guarentees players will be kicked

Logged in twice and both times, both sides I couldn't creat a squad simply to stay on the server not could I join a squad, several of which had 3 or fewer players.

It's a minor glitch... just spawn and join a squad. Usually there are nowhere near the maximum number of squads, and the only locked squads are usually the gunship specific squads, which are usually only one, rarely two.

Re: Server Rules Porked

That's never been an issue before and it's something we've had since the very early days of BF2. I seriously doubt that there were 9 squads on both sides that were either locked or full but if it does happen contact an admin.

On a related note locked one man squads get booted.

so glad you dint just join the forums to make a compliant thread about server rules. Im sure you would get better results if you would have posted in a more helping then complaint.

Im sure this did happen but there are better ways of reporting then your server rules are porked

Yeah, a screenshot would be nice. I flat out don't believe that there were 9 locked squads on both teams as you say. It would also be nice if you didn't create an account for the exclusive purpose of lambasting our server rules. A polite question in the Tech Support section would have received an entirely different response.

I am convinced you were trying to join a squad after you'd been killed once. The game prevents you from joining a squad while dead to prevent squad-hopping. The only time you can join a squad while dead is if you have not previously spawned into a round.

This is not by our design, but by DICE's design.

Lone wolves aren't welcome on our server, so a one-man locked squad will be removed. If there is a full team of locked squads, get on TeamSpeak and report it. An admin will likely be there to kick a couple of lone wolves.

Then you have completely ignored the very top forum that is marked as REQUIRED READING as well as the announcement at the top of every single forum that is marked as REQUIRED READING.

Sorry, but it's the truth.

I know. Flashing red lights or something..

What is really surprising is that I get a considerable number of e-mails from people who have been banned from various servers claiming to have come to the forums and read all the rules and required reading yet turn around and immediately send me an e-mail to overturn their ban. I assume if they read all the rules and required reading/SOPs for their particular game they would know enough not to be sending me e-mails.

*shrug*

Re: Server Rules Porked

no kidding send them to bommando, should add that to the rules some place, im sure he wouldnt mind. I always have liked the Email sent to them when they registar about reading the rules, then they have to click the agree box saying they read them. No excuses then, they " read" the rules.

What really makes a member look good is when they title a post " Server Rules Porked" doesnt start things out so well
