Punkbuster bug?

I was wondering why it kicks people off the server without warning. Is there any help to fix the bug?

It is most likely not a bug

But. if you are running on Vista, make sure "run as admin" is checked on your shortcut.

well, it boots me out for nothing.... it will not warn, I have been SL before, but it booted me for noting.

call me stupid, but this should not be.

Rather than delete it, you may want to post the solution, so people who use the forum search feature before they post can find this solution in the archive.

ok guys, please use this site to download Punkbuster:

I know it sounds crazy- download punkbuster (ugh) go to the link "for players" then follow the steps to get the proper download of punkbuster, run it, instal it, and then add your games, plus make sure you update it after you install punkbuster.

Too bad it took me so long to get this, so I urg all of you with my pb (not lead) problems to go download it!

I am running Vista, and have BF2142 set to run as admin. I also set it to run in WinXP SP2 compatibility mode. This seems to work fine for me.
