Strange, what you described should work fine. One thing to try is to remove the Logitech software and reinstall. Make sure you only have one version of the software installed, I've read somewhere that having two versions causes nothing but grief. Wish I could help more. You could try using the custom exe loader to see if that helps, but I am not familiar enough with it to offer any substantial advice...

When you say "custom exe loader" do you mean that area in set point where you add programs? If so I tried that. Like I mentioned I updated the software once, then uninstalled it because it screwed up the DPI. So I am pretty sure only one version is running
