Issue with login into TG 2142 server

NooB hwere sorry should have tossed this into the tech section ; ;

Hey All DasWolfei here. Been on the TG server for some time. Love playing there with all. Well run and awesome peeps!!! ^^

Now to my problem. I downloaded the latest patch from ea. 1.25 i belive from ea link. I tryed to log into the TG server and says my version has been modified. and will need to revert back to the older version..... I its there patch lol i only play on the TG server. so wth happend? lol any one got any ideas? how do i get back to a previous version of 2142???

Das, you probably got a bad install. You're going to have to either rollit back to an older version using system restore or the like and try again, or reinstall the whole game. A pain, I know, but at least you dont lose anything.

I agree with Ferris. You may have to reinstall BF2142 and then try patching it again, but this time, I recommend creating a backup of the original BF2142 (with no patches) just in case the patch doesn't work again. That way you got another copy of BF2142 on your harddisks to try again.

Oh yeah, you may want to work on your spelling and grammar, buddy.

And lay off the 'lol's. Sure you may actually laugh that much, but it really makes a post messy and hard to understand.

If you were trying to log into a server running a northern strike map your issue may be that you installed the patch and then installed NS. If this is the case then all you need to do is re-install the patch, this is what I did and it worked for me. If not a unistall reinstall is the only thought I have as well.
