Choppy teamspeak while moving

For some reason when I am on the TG TS & BF2142 game servers teamspeak goes all choppy whenever I start moving/shooting in-game. If I stop moving it goes back to normal. Aside from that, everything works normally. The choppiness is severe to the point that I can't tell what anyone is saying.

The strange part is I have used TS for years now and never encountered this issue and I have used TS with BF2142 with no problems back when the game first came out. Either something has changed on my machine or it's the combination of the TG TS and game servers that are problematic for me.

Any ideas?

Stop moving and shooting? Honestly, I wouldn't mind if you did that...

In all seriousness, I have had this happen only during Orbital Strikes or when I'm looking at a ton of rockets blowing inches from my face. For me, I believe the issue was my my older video card coupled with a resolution beyond its capabilities and graphical settings being a bit too high. I turned everything down and that seems to have cleared up my issue (running at 1024x769 on a 16:10 LCD, ugh).

Sounds like you are stating that TS goes choppy? The game runs fine? Or do both go choppy? Either way it almost sounds as though you are having a bandwidth problem with you isp. Too much going on at one time. TS can be a bit of a bandwidth hog, not to mention 2142. I would try running other programs with the TS and see if it is the TS causing the problem. You could try what Lorax74 said and see if it makes a difference also.

It's just TS that goes choppy, the game itself is normal. I've never had this issue before with TS + other games and I've used it extensively. Maybe the other TS servers I used had lower bitrate codecs.

Try to change the recording settings in TS from Wave to Direct Sound or vice versa.
