Been really intrested in becoming a TG member for BF2142. Searched but did not find what I was looking for.

Sorry for not making myself clear. Just wanted to know how to use the |TG| tag in the game. I want to know how to become a TG member.

The short answer is that we're a community, not a clan/team. You can be a TG member just by frequenting our servers and making sure you know and follow the rules

If you're asking how to become a supporting member (and thus get a reserved slot on the server) you'll want to check out this page

If you're looking to join a particular team, I'd encourage you to check out The Irregulars.

To just wear the TG tag, you just need to follow the rules linked above and seek to play as a team.

Another question, I uploaded my sig and it shows in the preview but does not show after a post. Something I did wrong?

If you wear the TG tag you should expect to be kicked without warning if you're breaking the rules. I'm not sure you know what question you're trying to ask. Your OP was about being a member, but now it sounds like you're talking about reserved slots.

Take a look at the Battlefield 2 SOPs. Much of what's there applies to 2142 and you'll find specific threads about the TG tag and reserved slots.

Oh and I could be wrong, but I think your sig image is bigger than we permit.

Okay figured out the signature part.

Now I need to know how to look and select a TG squad. Noticed there are diffrent TG tag names...

It's not that I want to reserve slots, its just I've played here at TG many times and meet a lot of cool members and since TG is all about team play I really wanted to be part of it.

I know in order to have slots reserved you need to pay, but I just want to support TG since its once of the best servers I've played on just because of voip team work.

I think you need to hunt down the required reading threads. Start with this thread and read everything contained therein (including links). Obviously, if there's game-specific stuff for a game you don't play, you don't need to read it.

Hey Voodoo, You do not have to join a squad to be a member of TG. If that is what you want to do, that is great! After reading you posts, I gathered that you want to be part of this great community, but that does not require you to be in an in house squad. I am not in one, basically because I do not have the time to devote to that, and I have a hell of alot of fun with the poeple on here. You are treated as if you are in a squad, basically because this is an interactive, fun, gaming community and everyone treats each other with respect. You will probably not find one person in here that will not help you with any questions. But DO NOT ASK BOMMANDO IF YOU SHOULD REVEIVE HIM! JUST DO IT! LOL
