Problem playing NS

I did a quick search of the forums with the error code I get on the EA support centre and on these forums. It came up with no results.

Problem:
Whenever I try and join a NS server or some titan servers I complese the loading screen before being sent right back to the server screen with the message:

"This server requires you play with unmoddified content. Please revert back to your original version of 2142."

Now, at first I thought that it must have been BattlefieldDirector from the Sir. Community which I downloaded to help make my movie. So I uninstalled that. Still the same problem.

Hmm.

I do have NS played for, and installed and I have played it before (This problem started recently). So I attempt a re-install of NS but there is no option for that so I have to do a complete reinstall of 2142. Fantastic.

30 minutes later...

One thing to mention, I don't think it finished installing NS however it said it did and then I get the stange message of:

"UPDATE AVALIABLE."

Which caused many wtfs? on my behalf. So now I try again and still the same message about modified content. I have never downloaded anythign apart from BattleDirector which has anything to do with BF2142.

*Sigh*
Can any of you help me? Much thanks in advance!

You need to put the 1.25 patch on after NS, even if you have already put it on before installing NS

did you do that ?

Silver is exactly correct your order for install should be like this

BF2142
patch 1.25
NS
patch 1.25 again

Thats strange, i did a total uninstall reinstall not long ago and did not get that error. Have you fully uninstalled everything yet?

Also, where did you download 1.25 from, I remember some sites had some issues with bad 1.25 files. I grabbed mine from fileplanet not ealink. If i remember right ealink patches had issues but i dont' remember exactly.
