URLs In Signatures

At what point does one get the privilege of putting urls in their signature? I know it can be done because I see others with them in their sigs. Not a huge issue, just thought i would throw a link for my website in. No spam

15 posts.
the formatting is similar to html coding as well, use the following without the " marks and you'll have your linkaroo:
["url=http://www.whatever.com]Link Name[/"url]

Re: URLs In Signatures

Hmm... That's weird, you get that when editing your signature right?
Have you made sure you have put everything just as Ferris said, without the " thingeys?

Re: URLs In Signatures

Here's the code behind my sig:

|TG-9th| Lorax74
"By Any Means"

9th Wiki

If I had to guess, I would say you are correct about the permissions. Could it be a Supporting Member perk?

Re: URLs In Signatures

I think you have to be an SM to put links in signatures. I can't do it. However, I decided to make your signature transparent:

Is linkies in siggies only for SMs?

I'm actually able to see my sig. I used the img code not the url code for that.

Re: URLs In Signatures

nah, he meant that he made the background on your signature image transparent so you dont have that ugly white box around it.

Re: URLs In Signatures

I used GIMP 2.0 but I think it's one of those fancy updating ones so once you go up more points you will need a new sig. ^_^

That's kind of what I thought. Too much work to keep updating it.

Re: URLs In Signatures

I think that you do need to be a SM to have url's linked up in your sig. I followed the little format Ferris and Lorax gave but I still couldn't link anything to my sig. After becoming a SM, I tried the same format again and the url's were linkable, yay.
