BF2142 Server #1 Lag

Since the number of players for the Battlefield 2142 server 1 was raised to 52 players, the server has serious lag. Last night around 8 pm EST, I and my squad talked about how the server lagged.

Can you help

I've been getting more frequent ping spikes lately, but my connection tends to do this now and then anyways.

I heard rumour that battle recorder had been installed recently, could that be it?

Same here. I've been experiencing significantly more lag since the server went to 52 players.

I thought it was just me...

I havent experienced any problems with lag since the server capacity was uped or since battlerecorder was enabled (although I only found out this evening)

Yeah, it's battlerecorder. Its server-side lag, most definitely, since my connection is running nice and fast: 70ms ping average

It was absolutely terrible late this afternoon. However, there were no admins whatsoever around so we couldn't get a restart.

Do the admins have any theories as to why the frequency of lag-related issues has skyrocketed?

Thanks for your expert input in concluding that it was BR, but it had no problems for the few hours when it was initially enabled.

Which BR setting was used from 1 to 10?

3. I can be pretty sure it's not BR. The server has indeed been having problems since the upped player count. The server should be able to handle 64 Conquest players, so it shouldn't be laggy. I have set it back to 48 to test however.

did not know BR was enabled now. I am very happy to hear this. thanks for making it happen. I am sure the lag issues will be resolved.
