Re: What version are we running?

No prob.

Pretty good amount of changes have happened, and I'd say that they're all good, still an annoying bug here and there, but the game is definitly at a good point right now.

Personally, I wouldn't consider the lmg "normalzation" good.

Re: What version are we running?

I never really used 'em before the patch, but the few times I've picked 'em up, never had a problem with 'em. They were as close as you could get to autosnipers before, now they have the kick to 'em you'd think they'd have.

Re: What version are we running?

I was hoping to highjack this thread rather than create a new one since this is somewhat related to a question I have. I did a quick search and didnt find any help although I am sure someone will find one and post a link...

I haven't been able to connect to the server(s) for a couple weeks now. When I search in-game for tacticalgamer.com servers I only find the private one and when I try to connect manually through the ip/port I find in gamemonitor.com I get a "cannot connect" error. I know I am running the latest version. Anyone have any suggestions?

Re: What version are we running?

No clue, reinstall? Usually should solve most issues.

Re: What version are we running?

Silly question...can anyone verify this server info as still accurate?

TacticalGamer.com - BF2142 Conquest
64.34.161.22:16567

TacticalGamer.com - BF2142 Northern Strike
64.34.184.33:17567

Re: What version are we running?

Yep, those are correct. Check this thread: http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...-you-post.html for the server status/IP and such if you're unsure or wanna know who's on (click the image, and read the page it launches)

Check your server filters. I'm almost positive that that's the culprit.

Re: What version are we running?

First off, let me start this post by saying thank you for trying to help. I appreciate it.

xTYBALTx, you mention the server filters. I did double (and triple) check these and I am sure they are all off. When I search for "tacticalgamer" I find the three "locked" servers. I beleive these are the private servers used for scrims and practices.

I also tried connecting to both server just now using the ip/port info from the graphical link supplied by Anospa (thanks again mate) and I get this error message on both the Conquest and NS servers.
"You have failed to connect. Please check your network connection(s) and try again."

I have no clue why this is happening. I don't have any trouble connecting to any other servers and know for sure I am running the latest patch and such. I was able to connect once before as I played one night with Anspie on the NS server.

I know there is probably not much anyone can do but any suggestions are hugely appreciated. It's frustrating to know there is such a superior server running without being able to join in the fun.

P.S. I sent a couple buddy requests out as I am hoping I can connect to the server via the buddy list if someone who accepts is on. If not the server will just display in red and I will know there is some compatibility issue. That in mind, anyone who accepts, I thank you and you can by all means delete me once this is all figured out if you wish.

Edit: Fehmart, thanks for adding me. Looks like you are on one of the private server at the moment. I will see how things look next time you are on one of the main servers.

Re: What version are we running?

Try reinstalling maybe? Might be able to fix some of these goofy issues.
