Re: Anyone playing Wireless?

I've been on wi-fi card off my DSL modem/router/wi-fi base station for several months, LESS problems than I had with a hard-wire via USB connection (on-board 10/100 is fritzed), so I recommend it!

Re: Anyone playing Wireless?

I'm using a Belkin Pre-N wireless router and it's been perfect. I'm always in the 'Very Good' to 'Excellent' signal strength range. Router is downstairs and I'm upstairs.

Re: Anyone playing Wireless?

I've got a Netgear WPN824, which I have never had trouble with. setup was easy and its fast for a g router. not to mention you can get it pretty cheap at best buy or some other similar store.

the signal is also great, even three floors up in my room I can play on wireless with the signal strength around 50% with little flux.

Re: Anyone playing Wireless?

Previously was on CAT5 - moved downstairs to play on lappie over wireless works fine (I was too loud on VOIP for the fam ) I was going to suggest homeplug option a bit $$$ good ol wg54g - never dropped connection (btw previously netgear dropped like it was hot!)

Re: Anyone playing Wireless?

Bah. I'm just giving her the bigger spare bedroom for her office. I'm making the smaller room into my gaming den!
