Team Punish Bug

Today ~4 PM I rolled a jeep with a passenger in it. I was punished. Later in the game I continued to get punished, even when no wrong was committed.
The next round,Cerb Landing, I continued recieving this punishment. I proceeded to log off and restart the game- the bug was gone.

Are there any theories why this happened?

I'm not sure but I get something similar at times where I'm getting loads of "team vehicle damage" for not doing anything.
