My keyboard and mouse stopped working in game. It is only when I'm in a server though, when I'm in the menus or on my desktop they work just find. Please help me if you can. Thank you

What kind of keyboard and mouse are you using? If you are using something like a gaming mouse you can try updating it's drivers? Otherwise I wouldn't know what's causing the problem.
And what might be useful information too, do you get this problem in Battlefield 2142 only or also in other games?

Your control settings file got wiped...go into the in game options and reset everything to default and redo your controls. Repeat for each account that has this problem. If you have a lot of custom controls setup then make sure going forward you make a backup of your control files and you'll be able to copy/paste them right back in if it happens again. Control files are located in C:\Documents and Settings\XXXXX\My Documents\Battlefield 2142\Profiles or something close to that.

This happened to me once or twice. I just reloaded the game and it was fine. I only have one custom setting though, it still works.
