As Zoopy said pubnkbuster may kick for it so if you want to try make sure to make a back up of your Sound_client.zip file before trying this.
go to your install directory (Usually C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield2142) and go into the mods\bf2142 folder. Locate the file called Sound_client.zip (for NS maps the file is called Sound_bp1_client.zip) and make a backup of it. Open it up and go to the Music directory in it. These are all of the music files for the game. They are in Vorbis (.ogg) format so you'll need to convert whatever files you want to play to that format first. |

I heard from a guy who had Battlefield Vietnam that you could put a MP3 file into this certain folder and it would play that song through a radio on the BF Vietnam jeep (or whatever vehicle they have).

yeah but that was a special feature ea was allowing, since it was music listened to via a special radio thingy when you press 0 in a vehicle...
