And, yeah, I've been getting hit with the can't connect on the first try thing too recently. Second try always works for me though.

anyone have a fix for this yet? the amd fix wont work for me due to my not having a dual core. anyone with an intel cpu having this issue?

Well, I've had the AMD dual core optimizer installed far before BF, so haven't seen that help me much.

I get the same issues with TS still working but my connection being dropped. I think it may have something to do with packet loss, something I know my connection has done in the past.

My game would do the lose connection thing before but now when ever I get into the game it punkbusters me. This has happened about ten times this morning.
