Connection Lost

Every time I try to join a server for the first time it says "Your Connection to
the Server Has Been Lost" or something like that. I heard some people talking about it on teamspeak,
so I thought I'de post it here. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know how to solve this?

I am having the same problem. Every time I try to join a server it first says "Connection Lost" and only if I try to join again it will actually join. It does this every time I try I'm joining a different server.
I would love to have a solution for this too.

In addition to that, im also getting huge lag issues. my game frezzes for 5-9seconds every 1-2minutes for the past three weeks, and that happends in every server, even the ones with low ping!

I have the same issue, and I know others do as well. I thought it was due to installation of something called promod. But I doubt you guys have that installed. I have no idea whats causing it. I have noticed it happening for a few weeks now.

Same here, first time fails then the second time connects.

EDIT: I do have Promod installed.

I have the same problem, really annoying when you see 49/52 slots open on the TG server, you join and it cant connect and after that you try again you connect but nooo its already 50/52.

Very strange problem. I always get that in BF2 now, every single time without fail. Yet it doesn't happen in 2142. It probably will eventually though which sucks.

I get this as well now.

As usual i suspect the Punkbuster stuff. It's the only "software" that has changed on my bf2142 install.

But it doesn't bother me enough to open a ticket about it, it'll probably be fixed with the next update.

I was getting it for about all last week, but not so far this week.
Having said that, it will probably happen later today =D
