EA Link - Problems?

Was playing as recently as yesterday - now today when I go to launch I get nothing - EA link runs (i purchased 2142 through ea link) but the actual game doesnt do anything???

I have already re-installed twice this morning. This sucks

Had this problem yesterday. I would choose 'ready to play' and nothing would happen. I cancelled the BF2142Pace.exe process in task manager, launched the game and it worked.

Did your ea link dl and install that 'update' yesterday?

It might have. I usually have EA link running even after I play so maybe mine updated automatically? I just reformatted to an XP/Vista dual boot config and I know EA updated a day after I downloaded it but that's the only one I have seen.
