This happened to me recently and I made something like 3000 points in the interim, but after the next login to BF2142 all the points were reset to pre-bug out. This was fairly recently (a few days ago), so maybe they are starting to catch the bug on their side?

On my way to Brig General I had this bug happen a few times where I'd get the ribbons again. Since then I don't remember the recruit bug happening at all until last night. It first happened on the 3rd's server before our scrim last night. Then after the scrim a few of us went pubbing and it happened again. Anospa may be right with his theory since I left the conquest server before joining the 3rd's then left the 3rd's before joining the pub.
