Screen problems

This morning i was playing 16p Tunis. I had lost connection and crashed a few times. When i got back from the last crash my screen went weird. It blinked black all the time and it ended when there was no ground under my feet.
I did the uninstall-reinstall stuff and restarted my comp. I also made a virus search, just in case. It was clean.
So i start the game, singleplayer. It does the black blinking again and then screen goes totally black. i had to pull the power cable off to shut it down.

Anyone have any idea whats happening?

Re: Screen problems

Video card may be getting too hot, causing you to artifact and get other weird visual errors in game. See what the temperature is like during load (ie, running a game). If its high (70 degrees celsius and higher), then you may be getting problems.

Re: Screen problems

Same thing happened to me but I just restarted battlefield and it was fine, but when I closed battlefield my backround was all gray and red lines and I could not play any games because it said my videocard didnt have direct 9x, which it does.

It goes when ive finished loading and the spawn screen shows up.

And Anospa, it works, for a while.

Re: Screen problems

I'd go with software fixes like G's before tinkering inside if you don't know how to handle things.

I've had an issue in the past of logging off a soldier then back on the same one and my screen would start tearing. Run it at the same resolution as the desktop and your fine.
