Teammate Indicator Bug

Tonight during a round at Cerbere Landing, I noticed that the green tag indicating team vs enemy was missing on one guy. I apologize to whoever that might of been. I know I went after you a couple of times before realizing you were a teammate. Anyone ever experience this? This was the first time I've seen this and a simple relog seemed to fix the problem.

Aye, have gotten this fairly often. From what I've seen, it occurs when someone switches teams in the middle of a round, and their tags will be displayed floating in the ground at the last place they were alive on the other team.

Noticed this as well on one guy. I ended up having to lambert him.

Heh, Hockey will, without fail, TK a guy missing tags everytime he sees him unless someone tells him not to. Its great, he starts getting mad that someone is punishing him for TKing.

This usually happens to me, then someone in my squad usually teamkills me 2-4 times. Do people go by tags alone? I usually shoot the guys in the opposite coloured uniforms....

Aye me too, kill the different looking people. But, if you're just not paying attention, and some tagless guy runs by, he'll really stand out.

I have this problem when firing tank volleys at very long range (just ask Pfeil

). Problem is, at some long ranges, you can't even tell the uniforms are different.

And this is why I hate it when someone on my team picks up another kit and starts running backwards towards me. If he's got the giant PAC lotus on his back, there's a pretty good chance he's going to get lit up before I realize what's up.

Well, when a friendly picks up a kit, they only change colors slightly, not the completely opposite uniform.

Definitely agree with you Draeh. I've had some instances of pulling off some amazingly long range snipes on people, way into the fog, and turns out I just took out a friendly.

This is the excuse I always give when a teammate scares me and I rip him up.

from what I've tried, shooting at the floating icon actually fixes it, but I've only done that twice, so I could have been lucky.
