Ok, I've reinstalled BF, patched to 1.25, reinstalled NS, re-ran the patch to 1.25, deleted the cache folders, done everything I can think of except sacrafice a chicken to the EA gods...

Every time I attempt to connect to a NS server, the map load screen progress bar will fill to about 3/4 full, and then the my the process will hang.

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope of a Phragtastic Phrosty Phriday.

Is it just happening with NS maps or does it happen with Vanilla too?
Either way you might want to take a look at http://www.tacticalgamer.com/battlef...avior-etc.html and try one of the fixes in that thread.

It was only NS maps, but I fixed it-
Deleted radial.cdb from the app folder, and all's well now at least

Northern Strike also gave me a headache trying to get it installed and working properly. The first time I did it, it caused a freeze every few moments when I tried joining and playing non-NS maps. The second time didn't even register I had NS installed unfortunately but the third time worked like a charm. No problems as of yet outside of some odd connection issues with my ISP.

I also had to do the radial.cdb fix today. EA probably messed with some ads and caused the problems!
