Punkbuster Handshake?

This problem started last night and I haven't been able to play since. Every time I join a server I get this message and I get kicked. I tried Uninstalling/reinstalling punkbuster but it did no good. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

have you tryed a manual update?
go to even balance and grab thier manual updatable client.
Personaly, I don't let PB past my firewall unless I say so.

Well, I've heard of this error before, unfortunately, I couldn't find anything over at www.evenbalance.com (PB's website). Have you tried updating PB manually? Running any downloads in the background?

yes a manual update fixes most PB problems

install . PBSetup in C/ program files / electronic arts / bf2142 /pb (I think thats the filepath)

The first manual update didn't work, so I tried it a second time and now everything seems to be working fine. Thanks for the help!
