impatience

A couple of days ago I was on the TG server and I had a CTD but every time I load up the game now it works fine for a few seconds then goes very slowly until freezes altogether after just a few seconds. I had a similar problem recently due to my graphics card failing which has now been replaced so I am pretty sure it can't be that. I am not sure whether it is hardware or the game that is failing, any suggestions and help would be much appreciated?

How old was your previous video card? It could be a heat issue, especially if your previous vid card didn't last very long. Also, do you have problems with any other program on your operating system? If not, it's probably the game. For that matter, what OS are you running? Check around the older posts in this forum and have a look at the tweaks sticky--you might find some helpful information.

Cool thanks will do previous GC was maybe a couple of years so reaonably old and had been running BF for about 5 months this has been running BF for about three months. OS is windows xp home. I'll post my specs later if I can find them. Thanks for the reply.
