Recent Game Lock-Ups

I know for a fact that we've all been experiencing random game lock-ups on a transfer to a new map while connected to the ranked TG Conquest server. These aren't the cut and dry server crashes that I've experienced (where it's more like the game stops entirely and kicks me to the BF2142 Control Panel) but a full game lock-up where I'd have to terminate the program in its entirety from the Task Manager.
Anyone have any insight into this phenomenon? I've poked around some of the BF forums and nothing's seemingly been mentioned yet.

Run a search for "50% load crash" or something along those lines. These crashes are usually caused by a radial.something file that gets corrupted. Your two options are deleting this file (2142 will rebuild it upon reloading), or reinstalling.

yea, but Doc is talking about after a map loads completely, you press the join button and the game doesn't do anything. Sometimes you can get to the Task manager to end the it but sometimes you have to reboot the computer.

I was getting similar lockups so frequently that I mapped one of my G15's extra keys to execute a script that killed the 2142 process so I didn't have to keep punching the power button two or more times a night. Works like a charm!
