    Post Patch Weapon Attachments

    With all of the attachments, especially the suppressor, being changed in the last patch, what does everyone use now? I personally have recently been using the Heavy Barrel & a foregrip, but I have heard people swear on the newly upgraded flash suppressor. What does everyone feel gives them the best accuracy at close or long range? What do you all simply like the feel of the post?

    That's like, a lot of colors dude

    You can also see why the AS VAL is nasty now.

    I've still stuck with the M16A3 for now, still only played a few rounds since the patch but the new weapons sounds are just a bit disorienting.

    Yea with the M16, foregrip, and heavy barrel it seems very accurate around mid range by slightly pulling down while shooting to control the vertical recoil. I haven't had time to explore the long range bursts yet but hopefully they stay accurate as well.

    I'm really liking Flash Sup on the G3 with red dot and foregrip. IDK how the actual numbers break down, but I'm getting some moments where I'm slaughtering people.

    I've had the best luck killing people with the foregrip + flash suppressor. Strangely, I've gotten better at hip firing with the flash suppressor, even though it's suppose to lower accuracy when hip firing.
    You know what attract bullets the most in Battlefield 3?? MY HEAD!!

    This is a useful thread, played a bit at the weekend and by and large got 'owned' lol. Seemed to suffer suppression almost constantly and had numerous instances of a near full mag not registering any hits at really close range, despite being on a low ping server. Dread to think how bad it would have been if I had been playing on TG at the time. Oh well, only one way to find out, prepare to pad your k/d's out guys.

    I loved the AS VAL before the patch... I love it even more now. I was looking forward to the extended mag and instead DICE gave me a surprise buff.

    More of a tweak than a straight buff. I also liked it a lot before they changed it. Still one of my favorites and available for all classes, Yay!

    All these weapon changes... hmmm don't mean jack to me.... I am no twitch shooter... so hence.... I die 80% of the time even if I get the jump first... so blehh...

    I have found that on most kits I've changed the silencer for the suppressor. The biggest difference I have found is getting used to slightly shifting my aim point to adjust for the recoil on the weapons. The second and third bullets were missing for me alot in the first half hour after the patch, with an aim shift I seem to be back on target again. I have noticed the biggest change in the M27 and the AKS-74u. I really like the recoil adjustment they made on the AKS, it is much easier to burst fire now. Once I switch silencer for suppressor on the M27 it felt normal again.

    The only weapon that I think really got messed up in the patch is the L96. Bullets don not line up with either the laser or iron sights. Hope they adjust it.

    The next chance I get I am going to try a few tips I saw the other day, and see how the L85 + Flash Suppressor, M16 + Flash Suppressor, and M16 + Heavy barrel work out without using the foregrip. Supposedly this gives fairly accurate ranged fire, especially with the L85 which sacrifices close quarters RPM for accuracy.
