Did he just spawn on the squadleader?

This need a topic by itself, since this is so important to all other veteran SLs out there - and everyone else who wants squadplay.

That part of the map reminds me of a L4D map. I was expecting zombies to charge down the elevator.

Looks like it, there were only 2 spawn options it looked like, and when he spawned the other 2 in the squad were already alive so there would have been more than two spawn points if you could spawn on all SMs. Also, he spawned on the guy with the stars.

Currently the Squad spawning works like this:

Squad member can ONLY spawn on SL. (or team spawn point) However,

the SL can spawn on ANY squad member. (or team spawn point)

So it is a mix of how things worked in BF2 and BC2. Personally I really like the change. It restricts the everyone spawn everywhere issues of BC2 and sets up a real squad lead position (squad leaders also have an icon above there head showing they are a Squad lead) while at the same time it removes the "lone solder behind enemy lines" and the "SL is the only one that matters" issues of 2142 and bf2.
