Helicopters are hard to keep in the air for any amount of time (though this could be from people using stingers and IGLAs to test them out).
.44 magnum has a different sound.
Flashlight is brighter than it was when original was released.
Both stationary and mobile AA have much more visible tracers.
Helicopter Air to Air missles appear to have no effect on jets, exploding before impact every single time.
Base anti air now has Air radar.
Minimap seems to be slightly bigger.
US medic now has black arms.
Color blind mode outlines icons on the minimap.
Friendly laser no longer blinds you (same for flashlight?).
Blue tint toned down by quite and bit and contrast increased.
Chopper Miniguns now drop bullet casing (like alpha/beta?). (Very cool.)
Chopper Miniguns now toggle zoom if you have ADS set to toggle.
Laser designation on all vehicles shows up now.
Can't spawn on flags that are being taken.
Changed bipod view when not aiming down the sights.
The armor changes might ruin the game for me, I will have to see on a more full server later today, the TV missle is going to be a big issue.
I have a bad feeling this patch may have broken the game for armor/helis, It was pretty OP sometimes, but now its extremely underpowered.
Thanks for the update. It's nice they seemed to do some changes just to spice up the experience as well.
The one shot kill of a TV missile on armor, would be the equivalent of a one shot kill from a sniper head shot to infantry. Both require unlocks and some skill. Add in the better AA versus helos and it sounds as if the game is more balanced. Armor is forced to work with AA or infantry with AA it sounds like.
Most TV missle users hover in place, over spawn very far out of any AA reach.
Stingers have a reduced range, few maps have a AA vehicle and rarely is there a good pilot on either team, and when that happens one takes the other out pretty quick so theres nothing to worry about.
But yeah Im not sure how this will play out on the TG servers, It might not be that bad.
so TV bomb is like BF2 now.....as it should be. I for one am glad that the armor is now in check a bit.
So on top of these changes we also have all the gun tweaks correct?
*edit* I just re read the question. seems now you cant spawn on a blinking flag?.....hmm that will be a game changer. More focus needs to be put on defense now it sounds like.....I like that

If they do fix the OP assets, I'll play more on the TG servers. I am here for a BF3 experience, I don't want to play a COD-style game (just an analogy, not a slight), but with the assets the way they were I ended up picking that over the post-patch BF3.
Noticed something about the Claymores. I can always set the first one down, but the second one takes a lot longer to get out of the ammo bag. No more throwing a ammo bag down and setting out the second claymore right away.
Also, after I've been shot and revived the claymore I had put down are gone! That aint right!
I was on a russian server after loading the patch and found myself the squad leader after one player left. But I could not issue any flag attack commands! Anyone else see a problem like that?
Also noticed your ping shows up on the scoreboard now. No more asking "What's my Ping?".
Here's a thread from the BF3 Reddit. The OP is doing a pretty good job of updating the list as new changes (listed and unlisted) are discovered, as well as providing screenshots and videos of some changes.

Vehicles are the only reason I have a decent score, Im worried about the one thing I found to be really fun getting nerfed badly.
Brain (I'm just going to call you 'Brain', I hope you like it), I don't blame you for your concern. Consider the flipside, however. Many people I know didn't enjoy BF3 and stopped playing because of how much the game revolved around vehicles.
