Re: Questions to the beta players ?
I don't deny drinking while posting this.
To follow up on your question about the Recon sensor gadget, I tried it out just now and it definitely has a limited duration, and the red indicator seems to only appear on the minimap, not on the HUD. It lasted around 90 seconds or so, by my estimation. The range was probably about a 20-25 meter radius. Not very big, but big enough to warn you about someone sneaking up on you. The problem is that you can't see your minimap while you're scoped in.
The sensor sounds imbalanced in theory, but it doesn't make a difference most of the time."No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country.

Re: Questions to the beta players ?
Remember guys that this is for PS3. They have so few buttons on console compared to what you can do with PC that it's extremely unlikely they'll have things like options for minimaps, customising crosshair colours, buttons for zooming into minimaps, etc.

Re: Questions to the beta players ?
Is there any way the medic class can get something that isn't an LMG? A battle rifle, and assault rifle, an smg, something that isn't a giant sign for snipers?

Re: Questions to the beta players ?
Not in the beta, nope. It's puzzling that DICE designed this class the way they did. It's as if they said, well, we need to include the LMG in the game somehow. Let's just give it to the medics.
Now that people have started unlocking the M60, it's a tough class to fight and they almost always will win a 1v1 battle with an Assault class, especially if they've already thrown a medkit down."No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country.

It's the tracer dart, and I believe you can get it as a universal unlock?

Re: Questions to the beta players ?
I really like the idea of all this extra equipment being included. Much more tactical choices have to be made about what people run with when there's more stuff at your disposal, and especially when there's only 4 guys in your squad.

Think of it, 1 med/support with tracer, and 3 rpg engineers bombarding tanks with their shots that never miss because of the tracers
