Re: Questions to the beta players ?
Does the console versions support 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound systems?

Re: Questions to the beta players ?
PS3 beta closed today. Hopefully I will have a new PC by the time the PC beta comes around so I don't have to miss a beat!

Yes, any squad member can issue an order.
Also, seems the beta is still going. I logged in this evening and played a couple of rounds, and the servers are still up and stats are still being recorded. Strange, since EA said in their blog that the beta was ending yesterday. I wonder if they'll just leave the server up until the demo comes on PSN.

Re: Questions to the beta players ?
Quick question:
Could you time how long it takes to regenerate health with/without the med box?
I just want to get a sense of recovery times as it greatly impacts a player's mobility. Why "Doc"Guo? Because behind every good TG player there's a good doctor yelling "CLEAR!". There's also the fact that "Medic"Guo sounds kinda weird.

Not that I've encountered. There are some spots where it seems stupid to have to jump. For example, there's a small ledge you must jump on to get onto the ground floor of a few buildings that are under construction, even though there's no walls and it's the first floor. No problems with curbs or anything like that though.
Impossible to tell since there's no health indicator aside from your screen getting blurry when you're seriously injured. Depending on how bad you are hurt it can stay like that for several seconds. I'm not sure what the maximum is, but I seem to have had a blurry screen for up to 15 seconds or more.

Re: Questions to the beta players ?
Thanks for that!
now is the blurriness really a hindrance on scoping and aiming?
Also do you become slightly deaf? It seems that whenever your hurt, there is a visual disturbance and an audio disturbance...
Does the player actually start moving slower and respond slower in the controls-department as a result of getting hurt?
oh and those UAV helicopters? does your team get one every so often like the armor vehicles that respawn (slower or faster)?
how do you take out those pesky helicopters? Is it hard to take it out with let's just say: an assault rifle? Why "Doc"Guo? Because behind every good TG player there's a good doctor yelling "CLEAR!". There's also the fact that "Medic"Guo sounds kinda weird.

Re: Questions to the beta players ?
You basically can't see or aim, or even tell where you're going if you try to run anywhere. It's tough to tell if your movement is affected because of how blury the screen gets.
On the map in the beta, only the offense gets the UAV, and it respawns after a certain period of time. I can't say what it is, but it takes a while, like a couple minutes perhaps. They can easily be shot down with an assault rifle if the pilot isn't moving it around a lot. Probably one to 1.5 magazines worth can bring one down. It's a lot tougher when it's moving and darting around.oh and those UAV helicopters? does your team get one every so often like the armor vehicles that respawn (slower or faster)?

Re: Questions to the beta players ?
I've read around the EA boards that apparently you can just "blow up"/level/demolish a building and the objectives will be destroyed....do they have a solution to this problem or are there certain parts of some buildings that remain intact....
side question: could you level every building....down to the rubble....what are some structures that have to remain in place: obvious ones are the bridge and train cars and shipping containers....Why "Doc"Guo? Because behind every good TG player there's a good doctor yelling "CLEAR!". There's also the fact that "Medic"Guo sounds kinda weird.

Re: Questions to the beta players ?
I don't know if this has been asked yet, so I'll ask again:
Is there a limit on the number of medic or supply boxes of yours that can be dropped at the same time? Like the max. per player is 1 in BF2142, and if you redrop, the other one auto-destroys.It's a signature...

Re: Questions to the beta players ?
Yes, most buildings can be leveled, and if an objective is in the building it will be destroyed when the building goes down. This raised some pretty obvious problems on the second stage of the map in the beta, where a tank could sit on a hill and simply shell both buildings until they fell to advance to the next stage almost with impunity. DICE has said that they addressed this problem.
Some buildings are not destroyable. For example, some steel warehouses can be taken down to the frame but not destroyed. Also, buildings which are under construction can't be destroyed completely either. I suspect they'll remedy the issue of destroying crates by blowing the buildings by putting them in buildings such as these.
Yes, it's just like that.
