Create our server banner!
That's right! We are looking for a server banner for our Bad Company 2 servers, and seeing as we have a lot of talented and creative people here, it would be silly not to utilise your skills.
If you want to help promote TG and show off your artwork, then heres what to do:
1) Gather some artwork:
2) Create your artwork:
The banner needs to be:
512x64 pixelsExample of image size:
filesize smaller than 127kb
jpg or png format
The Tactical Gamer logo should be clearly readable and stand out, using the correct font and logo supplied in the links above.
3) Submit your image:
Send your images in to the BC2 Contact an Admin forum. The final vote will go public in this forum.
All entries must be in by 10PM EST, 28th February 2010.

Unfortunately, I think your expectations are too high! The info above is all we have to work with, so I'd say no.

Do whatever you want with it - we want the best banner... not concerned with how it's created
Also - consider creating them at double resolution (1024 x 128)... I know in BF2, they specified one size (400x100 i think?), but in actuality, you could use double that size and it would auto-size. There, using a double-res banner was best because it didn't have to upsample when displayed at higher resolutions. (If you used the specified size it would look blurry on big screens)

I was considering double size just for my sake but now that I know they resize I'll redo it in higher def.
This is the first version I did.. I started with some artwork on the soldier similar to Dice did with their menu artwork. Ill post it for everyone to use.
Version 1. No high res.
version 2. hardly any difference, but I redid it in 2048 res.
Artwork. I Took the soldier from one of the screen shots from the fan pack, feel free to use it, ill post the 2200x1300 version if needed
