Ok, it's been a busy almost two weeks.
My girlfriend is really gearing up to start a cake baking/decorating business, and I'm trying to help by finding out what we have to do to start a legal small business in NY state. We're saving receipts etc, and I'm trying to find a cheap business card printer, and of course we're going to need a nice little website or something.

We're back from the trip from hell.
We got up at 4am to get to the airport with enough time to allow an hour to get through security and still be at our gate with 15 minutes to spare. No problem. I got about 3 hours of sleep, but what the heck- I did it in college all the time, right? Yeah, turns out I'm a few years older now and I like my sleep more. Anyway, we got on the plane fine... and sat on the runway for two hours while they de-iced the plane. That ate up almost ALL the time we

The Christmas season has driven a semi right through the momentum I'd built up on revamping the Tactical Wiki. Shopping for all those presents, flying to Indiana to spend time with family, driving to Plattsburg to see my girlfriend's family tomorrow, and then flying to Pittsburg for my cousin's wedding on New Year's Eve... I'm exhausted already. On the plus side I'll finally get to wear my new suit, on the downside, weddings make girlfriends go all squirrely.

Thanks to Silver's inspired solution to my "need a TG Wide, admin only forum for judging the promo video contest" problem, I've almost got it licked. Where would I find a forum like that? Duh, Administration - Ribbons. I sent a pm to WhiskeySix asking if it's ok, (Might I borrow a bit of earth saih, fo' my gardnin'?), and let's see how it goes.
Still no response on the 2142 How To's, except for a quick "Why would you do that?" so I think it'll sit on the back burner and I'll add to it as

The TG Promo Video Contest:
We have gotten a couple of real quality submissions, and I've posted that the contest is extended until the first of the year. I'm concerned that not a lot of people have stepped up to enter a video, and it doesn't look like there's any justification for renewing the contest again. With some luck the videos will do their job and pull in more members to the site, and some of them will become SM's. I ran into a lot of unforseen
