When I first saw the news, I actually didn't believe it was true, like some early April Fools Joke.
But a quick check to The SANDS of FIRE Blog (link)

This movie production was started back when Battlefield 2 first came out, so it has been a long time in the works.
Part 1 was just released, and it comes in at a huge 2gigs, so it will take a while to download. I'm getting it through the torrent ...

Kotaku has news on a couple of new games the folks at TG are going to be interested in.

First up is the first trailer for Ghost Recon's next version. No gameplay shown, but it looks like it would make for a pretty good movie:

I'm not much of a math nerd, but I do find Pi very intriguing. Turns out today is Pi day.
I just found out tonight, or I would have celebrated by watching the movies Pi or Contact. I have both on DVD
(Though to be honest, the movie version of Contact didn't really go into Pi the way the book did, and the book was WAY better anyway.)

Anybody else out there a Pi head?
